Reality Break

Born in the heart of Vorarlberg's music scene, Reality Break came together in 2024 with a shared goal: push the boundaries between heavy and melodic. What started as jam sessions in a cramped rehearsal room in Hohenems quickly turned into something bigger — a six-piece band with three guitars, piano, bass, drums, and a determination to sound like nothing else coming out of Austria.

Our debut single Hollow Ground dropped in October 2025, followed by Prism Surge on January 2, 2026 — a track that proved Vorarlberg is full of energy and creativity. With a debut EP on the way and a growing live schedule, Reality Break is just getting started.

Our music combines melancholic melodies with powerful guitar riffs and energetic choruses. Three guitars interlock with piano to create a layered sonic landscape that moves between introspective passages and explosive releases. Think the weight of alternative metal, the hooks of rock, and the atmosphere of post-rock — all in one band.

Lyrically, we explore themes of memory, identity, isolation, and the fragility of the human mind. Every song is built to work both in headphones and on stage — Reality Break is more than just music, it's an escape from the noise of everyday life.

On stage, Reality Break transforms. The layered studio sound becomes a wall of energy — six people locked in, feeding off every reaction from the crowd. From our first show at s'Beisl in Hohenems to selling out Conrad Sohm in Dornbirn, every gig has been a step forward.

We've shared stages with Revellion at Szene Openair and headlined venues across Vorarlberg. With our EP release show at Conrad Sohm on March 28 and festival dates lined up through summer 2026, the live show is where Reality Break hits hardest.
