Shattered Frequency EP - March 20
We're beyond excited to announce our debut EP Shattered Frequency, dropping March 20, 2026. Five tracks. Five frequencies. Five ways to break through the static. The EP was recorded at Tonstudio Dornbirn with producer Markus Engel over three intense weeks in January. From the first riff to the final master, every second of this record was a fight to get it right. Markus pushed us harder than we've ever been pushed, and the result is something we're genuinely proud of. Shattered Frequency explores themes of fractured identity, disconnection, and the noise between who we are and who we pretend to be. Each track represents a different frequency - a different angle on what it means to break through the static of everyday life. Pre-save links are coming soon across all platforms. EP Release Show at Conrad Sohm
To celebrate the release of Shattered Frequency, we're throwing a release show at Conrad Sohm in Dornbirn on March 28, 2026. Doors open at 19:30, show starts at 20:30. Support acts TBA. This will be our biggest headline show yet. Expect the full EP performed live for the first time, plus deep cuts and maybe a surprise or two. We've been rehearsing a completely reworked live arrangement of Veil of Static that we can't wait to unleash. Conrad Sohm has been a home for us since the early days. Playing there again, this time with a full EP behind us, feels like closing a circle and opening a new one at the same time. Veil of Static - Second Single Out Now
Our second single Veil of Static is out now on all platforms. Written about the noise that drowns out real connection - the static between the things we say and the things we mean. Heavier than Prism Surge, more atmospheric than anything we've done before. The track started as a late-night jam between Noel and Patrick - just a guitar loop and a vocal melody recorded on a phone at 2am. Over the following weeks it grew into something much bigger. Three guitar layers, a piano part that carries the bridge, and a chorus that refuses to leave your head. Veil of Static is the second taste of what's coming on Shattered Frequency. Studio Sessions - EP Recording Wrap
After three intense weeks at Tonstudio Dornbirn, we've wrapped recording on our debut EP. Five tracks, countless takes, and more coffee than any of us want to admit. Working with producer Markus Engel has pushed our sound into new territory - heavier, more layered, and more honest than anything we've put out before. Markus has this way of hearing what a song wants to be before you do. Half the time we'd walk in with a plan and walk out with something completely different - and better. The studio itself is tucked away in an industrial building in Dornbirn. Concrete walls, high ceilings, and a live room that makes drums sound massive. We tracked most of the guitars and vocals live to keep the energy raw. Mixing starts next week with mastering to follow in early February. Stay tuned for release dates and pre-save links.

Prism Surge Out Now
Our debut single Prism Surge is out now on all streaming platforms. The track explores themes of memory, identity, and the fragility of the mind - built around melancholic melodies, powerful guitar riffs, and an energetic chorus. Prism Surge has been in the works since summer 2025. It went through six different arrangements before we landed on the version you hear now. The final structure came together during a rehearsal where we stripped everything back to just vocals and piano, then rebuilt it piece by piece. We wanted the first thing people hear from Reality Break to represent everything we stand for - heavy when it needs to be, vulnerable when it counts, and always honest. This is the sound of breaking through. Stream it everywhere.

Hollow Ground - Our First Single
Today we release Hollow Ground - our very first single. It's a song about the ground giving way beneath your feet, about the cracks in the things we thought were solid. Hollow Ground was recorded live at Proberaum Hohenems - our rehearsal space. No click track, no overdubs on the rhythm section, just the six of us playing together in a room. Markus Engel mixed it and somehow made a concrete box sound like a real studio. Writing this song was the moment Reality Break stopped being a jam project and became a real band. The lyrics came first for once - usually we build from a riff, but this time the words were there before any of the music. Everything else grew around them. This is just the beginning. Conrad Sohm - What a Night
Last Saturday's show at Conrad Sohm in Dornbirn was something else. Sold out room, 200 people screaming every word back at us. We debuted three new songs from the upcoming EP - Veil of Static, Signal Shift, and Fractured Light. The response was unreal. When the chorus of Veil of Static hit for the first time and the whole room sang along to a song they'd never heard before, that was the moment we knew this EP is going to land. The energy in Conrad Sohm is always special. Low ceiling, packed room, lights cutting through the haze. It's the kind of venue where you can feel every person in the crowd. Our set ran 45 minutes and by the end we were completely drained in the best way possible. Huge thanks to everyone who came out and to the Conrad Sohm crew for having us. Szene Openair Festival 2025
Reality Break will be performing at Szene Openair Festival 2025 in Lustenau alongside Revellion. Two Vorarlberg newcomer bands showcasing how diverse modern metal can sound. This is our first festival appearance and honestly, we're buzzing. Playing outdoors at the Alter Rhein with a full festival stage setup is a completely different beast from the club shows we've done so far. More space, more volume, more everything. Revellion are friends of ours and incredible musicians. Having two Vorarlberg bands on the same bill feels like a statement about what's happening in the local scene right now.
